Ultra Silk creates a smooth silky effect offering superior coverage. Use in very small amounts (1/2 teaspoon to 1 1/2 tablespoons finished product), to add to the adhesion of your product along with giving it a beautiful silky feel. The Silk Mica which not only imparts translucency to mineral makeup but also lustre. It reflects the light very well, reducing the appearance of pores and expression lines giving a more youthful appearance and its lustre will impart a glow to the skin giving that 'dewy' look to your mineral makeup. It makes a good translucent powder with low coverage and low absorbency but reasonably good adhesion. This is lovely in all blush and eyeshadow formulas. Once you try it you will want to keep plenty in stock. It can also be used as a standalone eyeshadow highlight colour. Tip: Silk Mica can be added to Sericite Mica and ground together to produce a finishing powder that imparts a slightly 'dewy' effect to your finished makeup. Usage rates will depend on how 'dewy' you want your finished look to be. Start with 2 parts Sericite Mica to 1 part Silk Mica and if you don't achieve the look that you want with these amounts then just increase the Silk Mica until the desired lustre is achieved.
